Covid Precautions:

First, don’t bring your child if:  

  • You are worried about any one in your family that has a weaken immune system
  • You are worried if you live with the elderly(65 or older) and infants under the age of 1 year old, or coming into constant contact with anyone over the age of 65 and infants under the age of 1 year old.
  • Don’t bring your child if you are in question of, or don’t agree with any of our policies or procedures
  • ONLY students will be allowed in the building. 
  • You can wait in your car, stand outside and watch thru the windows or come back 10 minutes early to pick up.
  • For our preschoolers, only ONE parent will be allowed to wait in the lobby.  No siblings allowed.

For our Campers:

  • Parents will sign in and out before coming into the building. We will meet you at the door, you will not be allowed in. 
  • Students upon arrival and departure will either use germ X or wash hands.

We are putting this in place to cut down on germs entering the building.

  • Classes will be cut 5-10 minutes short in order for staff to disinfect all equipment prior to the next class.
  • Please take your child’s temperature and any one else coming into our building before you leave home. DO NOT COME TO CLASS OR CAMP IF YOUR CHILD HAS A FEVER.

At Winchester Location in the Rec Gym:

We ask that you ENTER through the double doors of the building (closest to the lobby). We will bring your child to you at the end of class by EXITING through the single door.

STUDENTS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ENTER THROUGH THE SINGLE DOOR!    

Doors will be locked at all locations during class time.

Because of the public concern with the coronavirus, we wanted to assure you of the additional precautions we are taking at all our facilities at A.K. Starz Elite.

What we are doing:

  • I have increased our lobby cleaning to everyday. (wiping down chairs, cleaning door handles and light switches.)
  • I am adding air purifiers in each lobby area, after school care, and gym.
  • We are cleaning mats and equipment every single day
  • Please bring personal use hand sanitizer for your child to use before class and after class. If you are out of sanitizer please have them wash their hands.
  • I have instructed the staff to wash or use hand sanitizers before and after each class.
  • I have instructed the staff to notify my department heads immediately with any possible sickness symptoms they might be feeling.
  • I have also instructed the staff to notify my department heads immediately with any possible sickness symptoms they see in our participants.

What you can do: 

  • If your child has been sick or doesn’t feel well in any way, please keep them at home. We will always be able to do make-ups at your convenience. 
  • Please make sure your child is regularly washing their hands and changing clothes before and after coming to the gym.
  • We want to limit spectators, please drop off and sit in your car during class time.
  • We will not use water fountains at this time. Please have your child bring in their own water bottle.
  • We will not use stamps for our classes at this time. We will encourage students without using high fives or hugs.
