Team Tryouts

Our club is a USA Gymnastics member, Alabama USA Gymnastics member. We follow the USA Gymnastics guidelines for Code of Ethical Conduct, Club Requirements, Participants Welfare Policy.

Beginners, intermediate and advanced gymnasts welcomed, must be entering Kindergarten in the fall. Please call 256-520-3467 or come by for more info.

We offer USA Excel Program. Xcel brings competitive gymnastics to gymnasts in a program that embraces all skill levels – beginner through advanced. It is a personalized competitive program starting at the first entry division. Xcel offers three different entry divisions, allowing you to place students appropriately based on their skills and gymnastics experience. In addition, there is flexibility in choosing skills to fulfill the event requirements from the beginner division through the most advanced division. Emphasis is on execution, not difficulty, giving the gymnast the ability to perform the skills she does best.

Although we are a small team, gives us the ablility to give more individual instruction.  We coach with praise and encouragement to bring out the best in each athlete. We believe in working hard.  Our motto is “Perfect Practice Makes Perfect!”  But we also like to have fun and enjoy what we are doing, We look for that athlete that has a love of the sport and wants to compete. We push each individual to do their best and beat their best.

This is a year commitment program.  Teams practice 4-6 hours a week depending on skill level.  Gymnast compete 3-5 meets a year. We are always searching for that child that has a love of the sport, wants to be a part of a team, wants to always try their best and we will train them to reach their potential.
